What is vacuum forming suitable for?
Vacuum forming is an excellent method for manufacturing plastic parts that require a lightweight yet durable structure, good repeatability, and cost efficiency. The method is commonly used in:

Vacuum forming is particularly competitive for small to medium production lots, as tooling costs are often significantly lower compared to methods such as injection molding.
What size of parts can you manufacture?
As a general guideline, the maximum dimensions are approximately 1800 × 1100 × 500 mm. The depth and geometry of the product affect the maximum achievable size of the formed part.
In addition, it is recommended to consider 2–3 degrees draft angles on side surfaces in the design phase to ensure efficient manufacturing.
What other manufacturing techniques does Asoma offer in addition to vacuum forming?
