Asoma is a growing and globalising family business with production operations permanently established in Finland. We specialise in sales and contract manufacturing of technically advanced plastic components and products by the vacuum forming method. A pioneer with over 70 years of experience
Since our establishment in 1942, we have evolved from a specialised case maker into a pioneer for the entire plastics industry in design, development and manufacturing. Our customers nowadays are typically leading enterprises in the automotive and electronics industry, the engineering and appliance sector, and the hospital and sanitary industry. We also have a subsidiary, Oy Sorter Ab, which specialises in making plastic containers and catering products for businesses and institutions.
Asoma also remains constantly aware of environmental considerations, as some 30 per cent of all plastic raw materials purchased is surplus to requirements but is not processed as waste. Asoma makes a point of recycling all of this surplus.
Asoma has an ISO-9001/2000 quality management system and the highest AAA credit rating issued by Soliditet of Sweden.
The company maintains its head office and showroom in Helsinki, and has a production plant at Kangasala in central southwest Finland.
